The Maimana is a beautiful flat-woven kilim rug made by Uzbek weavers near the city of Maimana in central Afghanistan. Created with handspun Afghan wool, the designs of these archaic tapestry carpets have changed little in centuries. Stylish and elegant, Maimana rugs are un-dyed, their only colour deriving from natural variations in the raw wool.
